Rodger D Ruth

As a foreman at Selge Construction, my focus has always been to run a safe and productive operation. I generally work with a 6-person crew that specializes in pipe laying, lift stations, and emergency repairs. Ensuring that the job site is held to the highest standards is of the utmost importance to me.

I served 8 years in the US Army as a Combat Engineer. While in the service, I attended classes at Central Texas College. I completed several leadership academies that led to rapid promotions within the ranks. Upon completing my service, I returned to my hometown of Buchanan, Michigan. I began working with Selge Construction shortly after and continue my employment 20 years later.

I still reside in Buchanan, Michigan with my wife and three sons. Our week nights and weekends are filled with supporting our boys in their various sports and activities. In my free time, I enjoy riding ORV’s or snowmobiling in Northern Michigan, watching sports, and working on perfecting my cornhole game.
