Robert P. Kuhns, P.E.

My role at Selge Construction consists of estimating road, earthwork, concrete, and utility projects. I assist in the managing construction projects, and have the pleasure of sitting on the Executive Leadership Board that helps to drive the company culture.

I been with Selge Construction for 18 years. I am constantly looking for ways to improve our business and trying to think of creative ways to build the job. At Selge we like to say that deep, wet, and tricky is our specialty. During the last 18 years, I have had the privilege of building deep sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water main, concrete roads, low pressure sewer systems, lift stations, force main, and vacuum sewer projects. I also worked 2 years for a consulting engineering firm prior to my tenure at Selge Construction.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tri-State (Trine) University. I am currently licensed in the State of Indiana and Michigan.

Besides being active in my children’s school and church, I enjoy spending time with my family, water sports, and fishing.
