Matt Huss

My role at Selge Construction as Grade Foreman is primarily centered on operating a safe work environment. While managing a crew of four I strive to produce high quality jobs while staying on schedule. As Grade Foreman I am involved with developing building site, road projects and constructing retention ponds.

I have worked at Selge Construction for 16 years. Prior to taking on the role of Grade Foreman for the past 3 years I was a Concrete Foreman. While in the Concrete Foreman role I performed concrete road paving, slip form paving, operating the curb machine and general flatwork. I also have experience with our GPS TopCon Equipment. Prior to working at Selge Construction I was in new home construction.

I have participated in several leadership classes and multiple traffic control classes. While on the concrete crew at Selge Construction we received concrete paving awards.

I graduated from Galien High School and currently live in Niles, MI. I am married and have two daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoor activities and coaching my daughter’s sports teams.
