James Morgan

My position with Selge Construction is Senior Foreman and mentor. I started working for Selge in September of 1972 and have been a pipe layer, foreman and superintendent. My jobs have included river crossings, installation of lift stations and running directional drilling crews. Another part of my job is testing of the systems that we have installed. I have been involved with too many sewer systems and municipal water systems to count. I have also done several lake projects that included grinder pump systems with miles of force main. Teaching new employees is one of my responsibilities as mentor. I also had the pleasure of working on the MSU solar carport system.

I have lived Buchanan, Michigan my whole life and graduated from Buchanan High School in 1971. I married my wife in September of 1972. Shortly after our marriage, I went to work for Selge. We have two children and four grandchildren. We have been married for 45 years.
