My Role as Project Estimator at Selge Construction consists of assisting in the estimating of civil construction projects, supporting project managers during construction, performing site visits, doing take offs, reading through plans and specs, and preparing bids. I am currently certified as an EIT and hope to eventually receive a PE license.

Before coming to work for Selge Construction in the Spring of 2018, I studied at Geneva College where I received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. For two summers, I worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation as a site inspector. Before that I worked as a grounds crew supervisor.

I am recently married and living with my amazing wife in our new South Bend home. We enjoy hiking, running, and staying active both physically and spiritually together. I also enjoy a restful evening of watching shows like The Office and Parks and Recreation.

Though I haven’t been here for as long as many of my colleagues, I have already experienced the encouraging mentorship of those around me and look forward to seeing what God has in store for my future years here at Selge Construction.
