Bruce Dickie
Safety & Resource Manager & EEO Officer
My responsibilities at Selge Construction include supporting the Safety Director to maintain compliance with Federal and State OSHA (and other) regulations. This includes working with statewide damage prevention stakeholders to reduce damage to buried utilities. All of these endeavors require ongoing training for me and others at Selge Construction. I assist with safety, damage prevention and leadership training. I owe a tremendous debt to teachers, mentors and leaders who have invested in me. I have a responsibility to follow their examples by investing in others. I strive to develop high trust partnerships with everyone with whom I am privileged to interact.
Before coming to Selge, I worked in an investment casting foundry on castings for the Space Shuttle Main Engine. I also worked for local mechanical contractors on several well-known local buildings and also as the Central Utilities Manager on a local campus.
I earned a degree from Bethel College in Organizational Management.
I live in Bremen, Indiana and enjoy boating, many sports and spending time with my wife and family. I volunteer with North Central Indiana Teen Challenge in Elkhart, Indiana an organization which helps men with life controlling addictions.
